After giving excellent care to the car I brought in, I got a wrong key stuck in the ignition. The man behind the counter helped give me advice and I worked at the key for 10 minutes without luck. After that, he offered the help of a mechanic, who was able to get the key free. I was quite relieved and extremely happy with the excellent help received from both of the Tuffy employees. I would definitely return.

I took my truck in a few days ago to have a noise looked at, mind you it only made that noise a few times and within 15 min the manager actually SHOWED me and not just told me what it was. I was missing a bolt on my control arm. He could have told me it was anything and I would have fixed it. Instead he was honest and fixed only what was wrong only making them about $60. They were all nice and polite and honest. Will definitely be back.

This was our first visit. The 2000 Dodge Ram wouldn't idle when the weather turned cold. Rather than start with a diagnostic and let the bill go up from there, the mechanic started with a visual inspection and cleared obvious issues as he looked around. The mechanic knew what he was doing and resolved the problem without a diagnostic. The old Ram runs great again. And we WILL be back!! Thank you

Called Tuffy Monday morning to get my brakes checked as they had not been checked for awhile. I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima. They said bring it in and they would check and advise. They said I needed Back brake pads and need rotors turned and bleed the brakes also needed an oil change and 2 fog light bulbs replaced. I okayed all of the work. It was 10:30 am when I took it in and was finished at 5:30pm they did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them I have used them to work on this vehicle for years with quick and courteous action. Will always give you an estimate and ask if you want it done. Thank You Tuffy.

I am from NV and was passing through IN on business, transporting 3 rescue animals to their new home in Albany, NY. I broke down in Fort Wayne and called Tuffy first thing in the morning. Ryan instantly fit me into their busy schedule. I came in and was treated very kindly and respectfully and like I was family. I had two dogs and two cats with me. The dogs were treated to fresh water and Bill put his jacket on the floor for them to lie down on. They allowed the dogs to be in their waiting room all day. Nathan was really sweet and spent hours scraping melted serpentine belt off of my engine. Ryan contacted my insurance company and worked with my budget. After spending all day with Ryan, Bill, and Nathan...I wanted to take them out for dinner and return the kindness. I am truly grateful...thank you so much!!!

About 6 months ago I bought a used car online and I noticed the car struggled to accelerate whenever I needed to drive 40 mpr. I have a 2009 Mercury sable and I took the car to a Ford dealership to get a diagnostic test done to determine the problem. In so many words I needed a "tune-up". The Ford dealership quoted me a $900 bill. I definitely needed to get a second opinion! So I called tuffy on Coldwater since they have serviced vehicles for me in the past and have done excellent work! They are known for educating their customers about car safety and how things work. Phill and Bill are very patient and kind mechanics to women and children! I talked with the customer service rep Nathan on the phone and I explained to him what procedures were planned for the car and Nathan blew my mind when he told me I could get my car fixed at tuffy for less than $500. In fact the cost of labour at the dealer was the cost of the entire car operation at tuffy! Nathan is your go to guy for prices and parts. His knowledge is incredible in mechanics!! He even talked with the mechanic at the Ford dealership to make sure tuffy can get the job done, RIGHT! My car is running smoothly now and I am sooooo grateful that I have been a faithful member of tuffy since 2015. This autoshop is a blessing!

I have been a member with tuffy since I purchased my first vehicle in 2014. Bill and the mechanics there are very friendly and patient when explaining the work that is needed to fix cars. Most importantly that are very welcoming to women with children! Currently Nathan works the front desk and his costumer service is phenomenal! He is so knowledgeable about prices and cars. I had an issue with my Mercury Sable and he talked with a mechanic at the Ford dealership to make sure Tuffy can fix the problem, and get it done RIGHT. I highly recommend the synchrony Bank card. I visited Tuffy on Coldwater rd after having new tires installed on my vehicle because i had some uneven wear on my old ones...i asked for a alignment check and repair if needed. I spoke with the front desk service person and Mr. Bill Conley the technician. They could have easily charged me for a 4 wheel alignment, i would not have known the difference. Mr. Conley brought me out in to the shop and explained to me what my alignment looked like and assured me that my vehicle did not need an alignment done. I appreciate his honesty and proffesionalism. I will be taking my vehicle to him for futur maintenance. Great job, very satisfied.....

I went to have my headlight replaced after another auto repair service said they couldn't replace it. The guys did a wonderful job and replaced the bulb no problem and it took no time at all. I drove from Binghamon, NY to visit friends. As I arrived in Fort Wayne I heard a noise under my car and I only had a day before I needed to leave. I spoke with Willie and he was totally booked for the day, but he took the time to get my car looked at. The mechanic took me out to show me what the issue was. Willie took the time to sit with me and go to through the parts and diagram of the parts and he priced everything out for me. I was offered coffee and read the paper as they pulled the fire information together got me. Willie said if I could leave the car for the day the team would get it worked in and get it done since I was from out of town to help me out. I was offered a ride to my friends house and a call once the work was done. When I picked up my car I was offered the option to see all the parts they took out. My warranty was explained and Willie looked for the closed place if I ever needed warranty work. My car drove great when I picked it up. Steve the mechanic worked on my car and from driving it I can tell you he knows what he is doing. I wished I lived in Fort Wayne so I could go to Tuffy on Plantation Lane as I trust them with my vehicle. These guys were great and I wish them the best as they are great people based on how I was treated. When It comes to having your vehicle worked on and being treated respectfully I haven't been to a better place in all 60 years of my life. They are the best. Thank you.

We have a 2003 Impala. Tuffys has worked on our vehicle for the last few years. They have done a great job of keeping it running. The staff are very personable and friendly. For our vehicle being as old as it is, they have really done a great job and have worked with our budget. The coupons are great also. Now days it is important to work with a certified mechanic that will take responsibility for their work.

These guys are amazing! They truly do whats best for each individual customer. They treat you like a person, not like a business opportunity. They let me make an appointment a bit later than they take most guests because it's the only time that would fit into my work schedule. Two of the Tuffy guys worked for almost an hour to fix a problem that was unexpected and unrelated to the initial reason for my visit free of charge. They stayed past work hours to help me out and were super cheerful about it. As the manager started closing down, I apologized for having to keep everyone there late, and he smiled and said it was no problem - my safety was the most important thing. While I was waiting, I watched the staff work with other customers and they seemed to get to know each of them individually. They also helped customers with discounts and advice wherever they could offer it. I will 100% always go to Tuffy for my auto needs, and Id recommend it to everyone else. They have phenomenal customer service and they get the job done right!

I have been taking my car to Tuffy for about a year now. They are always fast and provide great service. They explain any concerns they have about my car in a manner I can understand, and explain all of the possible ways to get the issue fixed. I used to take my car to Jiffy and got tired of the constant harassment and pressure to add on extra services/products when all I wanted was an oil change. I couldn't leave Jiffy without spending around $70!! Tuffy is reasonably priced and they do a great job!
